Matt, I have such sadness as I read this. I have, though, learned to be in touch with the sadness and not overwhelmed by it, thanks to you! “Climbing up the Scale,” is what I do now everyday because I learned a way out of my self pity. Your note here reminds me of your light and I know this sickness is not you. Our bodies are but fragile shells that hold our spirits and your spirit is so full of energy that your body can't contain it all. I will hold you in thought and prayer as whole, complete and healed and I believe that God is doing something profound in both your life and Greg's life as well. You continue to be a teacher and a profound role model of what it means to live 100% alive in "what is now" I thank you. Thank you for including your prayer. I love you Matt. Please keep the updates coming. Your prayer is full of beautiful reminders of the perfection and divinity of each moment, just as it is, as well as how amazingly we are supported. As time goes by, I rest more and more in the fact that I don't know anything, especially what is best for me or what should be happening for me. I simply know to be grateful for this amazing experience of being in a body and all that it brings me. I find great comfort in my belief of being eternal and that this lifetime really is only a drop in the ocean of that eternity. The big me knows that any given moment or situation is only a speck on the radar if I can stay present to this moment and not dwell on the past, nor fear the future. (Of course so much easier said than done.) Once again, these are principals that began from your teachings and I am forever grateful. You must know how you serve us all with your body issues. It's very important to my path to keep my Guru's human. We all have a body here and all are fallible. As you have also taught us, it's what we do with what we have... or how we are with it, that matters. In the same token there is not right way. We simply get to express ourselves and adjust according to our own preferences and aspirations. You serve us all with your demonstration, as does Gregg. You are simply being you. It gives us all permission to be us.... come what may. This email from you exudes grace and surrender. Thank you for such a beautiful expression sharing with us this way that it can be for us too if we so choose, yet without any have-to's to be graceful and surrendering in the next moment. ;-) You get what I'm saying. I love you no matter what. My love and prayers are with you and Gregg as you move with this new phase of seizures and scrutiny. You always did like to be the center of attention! Hah! Hey Handsome! Got your message and thanks for sharing! I just spent time lighting my sage, blessing myself and you, held my crystal, and read Carol Weber's sheet I have framed " I AM the Lord God of My Being ...with steps 1-10. All affirmations included you and me. I join you in thought in claiming FULL HEALTH NOW. Time may need to pass and I release how it looks. But I AM joining you in thought that the symptoms pass effortlessly. I also am sorry for you having to learn in this way. I don't understand it but that is part of the mystery of life. Step boldly into the process as you have been. Don't regret not teaching - you ARE teaching by being alive and the interactions you have with others. And never forget that all that you taught in the past is eternal. That wisdom is used and shared every day by the thousands of lives you touched. So hang in there. You will always be one of my greatest spiritual teachers. PS I called on Carol, Philip Payeur and so many other RLMs on the other side to shower you with gold and white light. Be healed now.
